The Human Rights Olympics is an annual essay and debating in Slovakia with 20 years of tradition, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, IUVENTA - Slovak Youth Institute and the National Commission of the Human Rights Olympics. The participants are young people, aged 15-19.

Putting Respect, Safety and Dignity for all into practice was one of the essay topics in 2017: In September 2016, the United Nations and its 193 Member States launched a campaign called "Together" to promote respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes in search of a better life. How would you turn this campaign in support of refugees and migrants into reality?
